Patience is a Virtue

Okay, I will be honest. Before my mission I thought I was a patient person.... Well. I was wrong, so so very wrong. Haha I am trying so hard to be patient, but its dificult. Patient with the language, patient with myself, patient with the people... patient with my companion. This is something that has brought me so much trials these past months. I try so hard every day and know that eventually... little by little it will get better. But, heres the problem.... I want patience and I want it NOW. Haha, so this week in my personal studies I have been studying attributes of Christ and trying so very hard to apply them to myself. One thing that brings me comfort is that I know that Heavenly Father and Jesucristo have perfect patience with me.

Sounds like you guys had an awesome week! Glad to know that everything is well at home. Things here are good, but its SO HOT. Haha Jessica asked me if its been cooling down here for winter time..... girl... im IN winter.... its only getting hotter. The sun is so strong here that at certain times of the day we have to walk around with umbrellas. We look like a bunch of Jehovahs Witnesses. Lol Whatever.

Also its so strange being the minority. Its really funny because I actually forget that I am white sometimes haha I get so used to seeing darker skin, dark eyes, long dark hair that when I look in the mirror at night it freaks me out! lol

I miss you all so much but please know that I am doing well. Little by little I learn something new. AND GUESS WHAT. I have a baptism this saturday :) A man named Hector. His wife is a member, and he has a 3 year old daughter. They have been married for a little over 2 or 3 months. And seriously it is incredible the change that this gospel has made in him! I am so happy. Him and his wife remind me SO MUCH of Jessica and Sam it is so funny. I love teaching them. AND one year from saturday they can be sealed in the temple! :) I AM JUST SO HAPPY FOR THEM.

anyways. I love you all! I got your picture last tuesday dad... it was awesome hahaha :) Thanks for the cards, emails, notes, and prayers! Les amo! Y Mariah... keep your eye on the mail box... I sent you  (a really late) birthday card.
