Crazy Cat Lady

My sister Jessica has always been crazy in-love with animals. She always wanted to be a vet, to help with animals like horses, cats, dogs, you name it. Growing up we've had a variety of pets mostly cats and dogs, the usual, but no matter what point in our life we were at or where we lived we were surrounded by pets. Horses, sheep, cats, hermit crabs, turtles, fish, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, and about a bazillion different breeds of dogs.

Now that she is married and out living her own life she was able to buy a couple pets of her own. I wouldn't quite call her a "crazy cat lady" but we all know that's where she is headed, haha (love ya, Jess)

The other day I was over at her house with my fancy-pants camera waiting to go on a dinner-date with her, my brother-in-law, and my boyfriend so I was messing around and snapped a few pictures.

This little guy's name is Ace. He is cute, but annoying. Definitely a "little brother" type personality. He likes to paw at your toes and he loves his mommy Jessica :) He is fun to play with, and apparently loves to get his picture taken.

Meet Jynx (she is totally my favorite) she is a little on the chubby side, has a sassy-pants kind of attitude, and loves me :) She is always sleepy or lazy and loves to cuddle.

I'm definitely not a cat person, but I do like these cats. (Clarification, I don't want a cat and I don't really like cats, I just like when other people have them, haha)

So when Jessica is 95 years old she will be surrounded by 10.. 20... maybe 30 different cats. Me on the other hand will be the crazy dog-lady that lives next door.

We currently have two dogs at home. A boxer named Duke (who I've introduced before) and a miniature dachshund named Tootsie.

Duke is my brothers pup (not really a pup anymore) that thinks he is a human. He gets upset that he cant do human things and it is really funny to watch. He loves my little brother Garret and is just overall a doofus, a really really cute doofus.

Tootsie is my dog and is seriously the funniest thing ever. Not only is she a wiener dog (which makes her inherently funny) but she just acts so dumb all the time. She is definitely not the smartest crayon in the box but I love her!

Funny thing is her body shape is really convenient. For example, If I am wearing a hoodie with a kangaroo type pocket she will weasel her way in it and just sit there. Head poking out one end, behind poking out of the other. Gotta love her.

My family loves animals, we always have. We grew up around them and they've just stuck. I'm gonna miss them along with my family when I leave for Ecuador!

Hello :)

Hey guys! My oh my. I have so much going on right now this post could be one of the longest/stressful/confusing posts I ever write (Er...type?) BUT Guess what? I don't wanna do that haha so I'm going to be lazy and tell you about something completely different! So here it is........

I am one of the dorkiest (Is that a word?) people you will ever meet. Here's why.....

1. I enjoy reading, haha like... a lot. I am currently reading a book about mummies. :)
2. I love anything/everything Marvel. For Christmas I want all of the Marvel hero movies that lead up to The Avengers (Which by the way is now in my top 10 favorite movies of all time)
3. This summer, me and my mom worked out together, and I actually liked it. Woohoo! Go moms! Haha
4. I am a Disney movie junky. Hardcore.
5. I have a blog..  that's at least 35 nerd points
6. I like lists :) Don't believe me? Look at what I'm doing right now O.o
7. For fun, me and my boyfriend Cameron quote Disney movies. 
8. I like old things :) I don't know why.. I just find them interesting.
9. When I was younger I collected rocks (Nerdy part is.. I still have them)
10. I LOVE T-shirts. Haha I dress for comfort and occasionally dress it up a little bit (Which drives my sister Jess, the beautician, a bit bonkers every now and then i'm sure) 

I could keep going...but I am tired and have Seminary in the morning. So adios amigos!

Duke Update

Hey everyone :) just a little update on our little puppy Duke (Well...not so little) I posted about him awhile back, he was just tiny then though. Now he is a 30 pound, crazy, adorable, dog and we love him :) He is a little hyper sometimes but that's okay cause it's funny.

Wizard of Oz, Birthday, Duke, and Countdown to Prom :)

Dear everyone that reads this blog (Which is probably only a handful),


I'm sorry I fell off the face of the earth. BUT I'm back, and in my defense I have been incredibly busy. Every ounce of my time has been dedicated to the musical and school. Literally. There was a week where I left for seminary at 6:00 and didn't get home untill 11:00 at night, pulled out of class 3 hours early for Tech and lots homework everyday. In the end it was all worth it, the show turned out great! Me and one of my friends Clarissa got to know eachother more and had a lot of good times and over all it was a (Stressful) but great expirience.

ANNNNNNNNND GUESS WHAT?? I'm now 17. Yesterday, April 28th, was my birthday. It was a great day, Cameron got to come over, we played games, watched movies, and of course....ate cake. (My mom got me an Elmo cake, haha she's the best.) Cool little fact is that Cam's birthday is the day after mine so we celebrated his too! It was fun. :)

I got him a "Minni Movie Theater" lol Popcorn, movies, candy, and rootbeer :)

This is the "Miller" style birthday opening ;) Super crazy i'm sure we scared him a little, lol :)

 He put the presents he got me in a pinata.. :) Super creative :)

Next topic to talk about is *DRUM ROLL* WE GOT A NEW PUPPY!?!?!?! His name is Duke and he is an 8-week-old Boxer. We love him, he's really soft, and spunky.

And LAST but not LEAST prom is this Saturday!!! I am so excited! I have a dress, shoes, date (Hehe) and i'm SET TO JET. I can't wait!
