Chao Hermana Espinoza!

Well, transfers came and went.... I didnt have transfers, but my companion did! And let me tell you.... I am absolutely terrified. I only have 6 weeks in this sector.... I dont know where ANYTHING is... and now I have to find all the houses and appointments and the truth is? Ive never been so lost and stressed in my whole entire life.

Luckily my new companion tells me she is good with directions and all that stuff... so lets just say its pretty much like we are starting from zero. She has the same time as sister espinoza (4 months) and so I am senior companion again. She is from peru aswell. My third peruvian in a row! Haha, she is really short and seems nice, a little quiet, but will see how it goes. She talks about her old sector a TON and I dont think she is happy she had cambios. She is 28 years old and we get along good so far :) I am just really really stressed out about the sector.. I am lost all the time! haha please pray that I will remember the streets and houses!

This week went by super fast, the temple was amazing, as always, and its awesome to go through the temple in pure Spanish! it makes me feel cool, lol We also had a conference with other zones and we got to see president and sister dennis. AND I SAW HERMANA HOBBS :) So that was fun.

This saturday is the womans conference! I hope you all can go see it!

any questions for me about my sector or companion??

I love you all! Have a good week.

So Many Pictures!

Okay, this week I sent tons of pictures, so finally you can see whats been going on! haha

Gloria and Danner were baptized and confirmed this weekend and this NEXT weekend her daughter Tamara and her daughter in law Jocelyn are gonna be baptize

                                                     filling the font!

So these past couple weeks have been successful but now I am a little worried because outside of that family... no one really is progressing, haha the people here are really humble, yes... but not trusting really at all. So its hard to find someone who doesn't reject us but when we DO find them it makes it all worth it.

This week went by pretty fast, I still cant believe its March... and we are already making plans for April.. Its nuts! I am officially half way done with my mission!... I don't really know how I feel about that haha

Also, I am hoping and praying that my companion doesn't have transfers! I am completely lost here. If I, Megan Miller... get lost in LAKEVILLE of all places... I am pretty much screwed. Haha this sector is HUGE and flat as flat can be and they don't use directions here its like "hey can we have your address so we know how to come back?" and they are like sure "Its the house made out of sticks and cement blocks, third one down on the right, with a hammock out front." ... and we are usually like... uhhh.... "anything else? alot of houses have that description" and that's when they say ... "ya my husbands usually out front drunk all the time, and we have a dog with three legs... just find the street and shout for me"....... haha and I'm just sitting there like... Well. You pretty much just described ALL of Esperanza, but okay. And not many people have phones either haha so its hard, but whatever lol... Follow the spirit! haha

I really do like my sector, its just reallllly unique hahahaha... I am gaining so many new expiriences everyday! I have quite a bit to share with you all when I get home. Lol

In two weeks we have a mission conference and we get to go to the temple in Guayaquil WOOHOO!!! I am so excited!

I love you all! Things are good here! XOXOX

Walking and Walking and Walking!!!!!!!

HELLO I am glad to say that this week is over haha, it was probably the longest week of my entire mission. BUT hard work and obedience pays off! We have a family that is gonna get baptized! Gloria (the mom) and her son Danner (13 year old son that reminds me of garret) are getting baptized this Saturday, and Tamara (the 23 year old daughter) and Jocelyn (the 21 year old daughter in law) will be baptized the NEXT Saturday. So that's way exciting! The dad Antonio, and the older son Cesar don't wanna listen to us still, but I know they will come around eventually-
This family is a miracle really because other than them... we don't really have anything else... just a couple of investigators that aren't really progressing. That's why the title of this email says "walking and walking and walking" because we don't have many people and when THEY aren't home or they are busy we spend the time contacting trying to find new people.... we talk to EVERYONE and we get rejected ALLLLLLLLLLLL day long haha but whatever.. we are doing our part! and I know someone is out there waiting for us!

I tried a new fruit this week its called Guaba.... its this long dry pea pod looking thing that you crack open and there are big fat seeds covered in white slimy fuzz...and guess what part you eat??? THE WHITE SLIMY COTTON LOOKING FUZZ! haha The flavor is good... but the texture is like a cotton ball lol
Me and my companion are still good and still working hard. Its just a little rough sometimes because she is starting her mission.. and she gets down sometimes so I just try really hard to be my goofy smiley self and that seems help!
I love you all SO MUCH, stay healthy! and this week I HAVE NINE MONTHS IN THE MISSION!
love, Hna Miller
